Our country inn has been owned by the Herr family for 7 generations since 1835. Today we present you a modern house, with well-kept kitchen, which is known far beyond the borders of the beautiful Elz valley. We have lovingly furnished vacation apartments and guest rooms in various categories, all with a covered terrace or south-facing balcony or loggia. Of course, we also offer barrier-free rooms. The newest guest rooms (completion July 2023) are with air conditioning. You can enjoy a home-baked piece of cake and a cup of hot drink, as well as a cold drink and a hearty snack in our beautiful, idyllically situated beer garden in the warm season. On request, you can also book a breakfast buffet for € 15 per person/day. The apartment has a living room with satellite TV, telephone, internet, kitchen with dishwasher, shower/WC; 2 loggias (south and north) with a wonderful view.

Relax with the deep effect of our soothing infrared cabin, the bio sauna or the Finnish sauna. Whether you want to take a break during your hike, bike or motorcycle tour or stay with us for several days in the beautiful Black Forest - we will provide you with everything you need. The quiet, flowing Frischnaubächlein stream runs past the house. You are welcome to use the bike or hiking trail along the Frischnaubächlein to the town of Elzach, which is about 3 km away. A new 3 D archery course starts right after our house
