Our country inn has been owned by the Herr family for 7 generations since 1835. Today we present you a modern house, with well-kept kitchen, which is known far beyond the borders of the beautiful Elz valley. We have lovingly furnished vacation apartments and guest rooms in various categories, all with a covered terrace or south-facing balcony or loggia. Of course, we also offer barrier-free rooms. The newest guest rooms (completion July 2023) are with air conditioning. You can enjoy a home-baked piece of cake and a cup of hot drink, as well as a cold drink and a hearty snack in our beautiful, idyllically situated beer garden in the warm season. On request, you can also book a breakfast buffet for € 15 per person/day. The apartment has a living room with satellite TV, telephone, internet, kitchen with dishwasher, shower/WC; 2 loggias (south and north) with a wonderful view.

The quiet, flowing Frischnaubächlein stream runs past the house. You are welcome to use the bike or hiking trail along the Frischnaubächlein to the town of Elzach, which is about 3 km away. Beautiful apartment. Great that there were shutters everywhere. Nice kitchenette.Disadvantage is that the apartment is noisy and I woke up every day at 6:30 from neighbors going down stairs or walking around in their apartment. 1 night it went on until 1:00 on one side and by 6:30 the other side was already awake.
Mooi appartement. Geweldig dat er overal rolluiken waren. Fijn keukentje.
Nadeel is dat het appartement gehorig is en ik iedere dag om 6:30 wakker werd van buren die de trap af gingen of in hun appartement rondliepen. 1 nacht ging het tot 1:00 door aan de ene kant en was om 6:30 de andere kant al weer wakker.Great location, close to lots of beautiful nature like waterfalls and hiking areas, as well as beautiful cities and so on.
