Olaf September 16, 2024 General rating:Beforehand we had friendly contact with the (Dutch) owner, and after arriving at the colorfully decorated cottage we only became more curious to meet him ourselves, after which he visited us and we visited him in his (vintage) store in Alvaiazere, where we also received a warm welcome. This cottage is really recommendation for those who do not like standard "sterile furnished" vacation homes!
Vooraf hadden we al vriendelijk contact met de (Nederlandse) eigenaar, en na aankomst in het kleurrijk ingerichte huisje werden we alleen maar nieuwsgieriger om hem zelf ook te ontmoeten, waarna hij bij ons op bezoek is geweest en wij bij hem in zijn (vintage)winkel in Alvaiazere, waar we ook een warm hartelijk onthaal kregen. Dit huisje is echt aanbeveling voor degenen die niet van standaard "steriel ingerichte" vakantiehuizen houdt!

Larger and recommendable university city Coimbra at about 45 km distance, and the also very worthwhile Tomar at about 30 km. We spent a full week here and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the nearby area, and smaller and larger towns in the region. One of the nicest and happiest vacation homes we have ever had.

Vanuit balkon/terras aan achterzijde zicht op beboste helling, binnen enkele minuten ben je lopend in het bos. Gelegen aan rustige doorgaande weg, naar aardig plaatsje Alvaiazere. Grotere en aanbevelenswaardige universiteitsstad Coimbra op circa 45 km afstand, en het ook zeer bezienswaardige Tomar op circa 30 km. We zijn hier een volle week geweest en hebben genoten van rust en ruimte in nabije omgeving, en kleinere en grotere plaatsen in de regio. Een van de leukste en vrolijkste vakantiehuizen die we ooit gehad hebben.
