Our nature house is located in the yard of our farm, where we keep beef cattle. In the yard there are also other farm animals such as chickens ponies and cats. So there is a lot of experience of the countryside. The cottage is integrated into a barn, which was formerly used as winter storage for our young cattle. Upon entering it immediately gives a warm atmosphere and the space is equipped with all comforts. There is a separate bedroom for 2 persons and a double bedstead. There is also a spacious bathroom with toilet and shower. An extensive kitchen with dishwasher, fridge with freezer, a combination microwave oven and gas stove. The cottage is heated by underfloor heating. This results in a comfortable and pleasantly heated room. The nature house has an area of 70 square meters. In the yard of our farm is also a farm store, where we sell meat from our own cows and on weekends also dairy and bread.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is located in the middle of the national park of the Drentsche Aa. To walk you don't have to drive to a nice place with the car first, but you cross the street and you walk straight into the forest and onto the heath. The national park has a unique stream valley that has been preserved. In the nature reserve a flock of sheep roams with the shepherd and his dogs. Geopark "The Hondsrug" is also a beautiful nature reserve which overlaps part of the national park, this runs from Groningen to Emmen from top to bottom in Drenthe. Here you will find many authentic elements and many dolmens. The highlight here is the dolmen center in Borger. Dichtbii is Zuidlaren a cozy village Zeegse is about 10 kilometers from Assen and 20 kilometers from Groningen. We are not reachable by public transport. The nearest bus stop is 5 kilometers away.
