Our nature house is a part (30 m2) of a renovated authentic farmhouse from 1910, 200m away from Natura 2000 area Drentse A. Everything is on the ground floor. It is cozy and modern, fully equipped and very tastefully decorated. The modern kitchen is complete with refrigerator, induction hob, microwave oven, kettle, egg cooker, toaster and a Nespresso machine with milk frother and cups. The spacious, double bed has a, best tested, Mattsleeps mattress. Guests have a private bathroom with shower, sink, hair dryer and toilet. There is a private entrance, parking space and a lockable bike shed. The building is heated by underfloor heating. Guests can make use of 3 terraces, one of which has a fire pit (wood available). An organic breakfast can be enjoyed until 11:00 a.m. at the bakery in Hooghalen (4 km). A painting workshop of 2 hours in our studio is also possible.

We spent a week in this super nice cottage. For us it was really a treat. Fine owners who give you a warm welcome. We zijn een week in dit superfijne huisje geweest. Voor ons was het echt een feestje. Fijne eigenaren die je warm welkom heten. In het huisje stonden lekkere dingen voor ons klaar en op koningsdag werden we ook nog getracteerd op oranjetompoucen. In het huisje ben je van alle gemakken voorzien en je kunt altijd aankloppen bij Gea en Genardus als je iets nodig hebt. Vanuit het huisje hebben we de prachtige natuur in de omgeving bewonderd. En met mooi weer kun je lekker nagenieten in de ruime tuin. Daar rijdt dan af en toe een trein langs of een boer gaat aan het werk op het land maar daar hadden we verder geen last van.
