Welcome to our nature house, a cozy little wooden house in Twekkelo, a hamlet located between the Twente towns of Hengelo and Enschede. Beautiful nature with many opportunities for cycling and walking. The cottage has heating and air conditioning. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed and a closet. A bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, an open kitchen with a 2-burner induction hob, an oven/microwave, a nespresso machine and a kettle. In the sitting area there is a round dining table with four comfortable wicker chairs.Upon arrival the beds are made, bath towels and kitchen linen are ready.There is good WIFI connection, television, games, a bookcase full of books and a veranda where you can enjoy the evening sun. With a little luck you will see deer, hares or pheasants in the garden. Because we have a dog and a cat, unfortunately you cannot bring your own dog.
Nature and surroundings
Twekkelo is a hamlet in a beautiful part of Twente. The residents themselves laid out a footpath, or as they say, a Stiewelpad. The paths do not run along public roads but over private land. The Stiewel, Twents for boots, paths run through and along places where you would normally not come easily. There are also several bicycle routes through Twekkelo, both nodes and LF-routes as well as the route "Rondje Enschede". In the vicinity you will find several cities and places that are worth visiting. Whether you like museums, shopping or eating out, a trip on an old steam train or swimming in a beautiful lake, you can do anything from this nature house.
