The nature house is housed in the front house of an original thatched Saxon farmhouse. You are in the Reestdal nature reserve in Balkbrug, Overijssel. From your cottage you walk 100 meters to the idyllic little river Reest. The cottage has a private entrance. The cozy living room is equipped with a TV. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed (140 x 200 centimeters) and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, microwave, airfryer, filter coffee and Nespresso coffee cups machine and all kitchen utensils to prepare your own meals. Your cottage has a private parking space and covered terrace. Electric charging of your car is possible. In the Saxon farmhouse we (owners) live together with our children. We hope you will enjoy this unique place in the Reest valley and near the river De Reest! Hope to see you soon.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is surrounded by more than 4000 m2; ornamental and herb gardens (private). The cottage borders the beautiful protected valley of the Reest with the historic Jodenvonder. This Jodenvonder bridge connects the province of Overijssel and Drenthe. Next to the nature house is a stork's nest. From the yard are many beautiful walking and cycling tours to make in both Drenthe and Overijssel. We can possibly provide bicycle rental for you.
