At the end of May 2024, after a major renovation, our forest cottage was rented out for the first time. Not only we are enthusiastic. Our guests also let us know how nice the nature house is. How quiet it is. How lovely it is to stay on the porch in good and bad weather. The cottage is fully modernized and insulated. There are two bedrooms. One has a 1.60m box spring bed with t.v. The other has a 1.40m sofa bed. Here you will find a good number of books and magazines. The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, coffee filter machine, induction hob and combi-oven. Only a dishwasher is missing. The cozy living room has doors to the veranda. From there you look into the private garden, located on the South. If you would like the bed to be made (€ 15), please indicate this when booking. Kitchen towels are provided, you must bring your own.
Nature and surroundings
Already upon arrival one notices how quiet it is. Birds sing their hearts out, and the cuckoo can be heard. The flock of sheep regularly walks 'around the house. Under all weather conditions you can enjoy the wonderful peace on the terrace. Hiking and cycling routes start directly from the nature house. Walk one or more stages of the adjacent Drenthepad. A walk to the cozy Westerbork (2.5 km) or museum village Orvelte (2 km) is also worthwhile.
