Nature house in Waalwijk

The interior is best described as romantic, cozy and cozy. You continue to enjoy a beautiful view of the floodplains of the Bergsche Maas. All lighting (both downstairs and outside) is easily controlled via the i-pad (Hue). The "men's room" on the west side serves as a reception and/or dining room and breathes the cozy atmosphere of yesteryear. The cozy kitchen is spacious and equipped with a Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, Boretti stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer and dishwasher, among other things. The somewhat steep stairs take you to the first floor. Here are 2 very spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with toilet. The king-size beds are wonderful box springs with luxurious bed linen. There is ample closet space. Bed linen, kitchen linen and (bath) towels are provided.

This nature house is located north of Waalwijk on a quiet road. The house is beautifully situated on the Zomerdijk with a beautiful view of both the Bergsche Maas on the north side and the Oude Maasje on the south side. The privacy is unprecedented. This former service house of Rijkswaterstaat from 1896 was during the Second World War because of its strategic location a popular location for both the Allies and the occupiers. There was heavy fighting at the time and the traces of this are still clearly visible in the brick facades of the Municipal Monument.There is plenty to do in the area. You can cross the Bergsche Maas by ferry (500 meters) to Drongelen and discover the many regional products in the spacious polder landscape of Altena. You can go along the dikes towards Doeveren (4km) to the port of the lovely fortified town of Heusden (7km). The Efteling (9km) and the Biesbosch via Drimmelen (22km) are also around the corner.
