The vacation apartment is located in the municipality of Schenkenzell in the central Black Forest. The small Black Forest village stands for peace and relaxation in the Kinzig valley. The view from the balcony encompasses the area of the flowing Kinzig and the local playground with a large playing field. The harmonious background sounds of the Kinzig are particularly beautiful on warm, sunny days. Schenkenzell has two bakeries, a butcher and a small grocery store with basic food supplies. The nearest shopping facilities are in the neighboring towns of Alpirsbach (up the valley) and Schiltach (down the valley), which are a good five minutes' drive or one train stop further away. Directly opposite the vacation apartment is a modern playground run by the municipality of Schenkenzell, where your children can let off steam while you relax on the park bench and enjoy the surroundings.
