Our forest bungalow is located in a small area with a few private recreation houses on the outside of picturesque Gees. Located on the Geeserstroom and nature reserve Boswachterij Gees. The bungalow offers a beautiful view through to a pingoruin, truly unique! In these beautiful nature reserves, located in the triangle between the villages Gees, Nieuw Balinge and Meppen you can relax with various hiking and cycling trails and fens. The moorland De Hooge Stoep and the Mekelermeer, also a pingoruin, are a very short distance from the bungalow. The esdorp Gees is characterized by many old Saxon farmhouses and is easily accessible from the A37. From Gees there are many cycling routes that lead you past the most beautiful spots in Drenthe, the best cycling province in the Netherlands.
