What a weekend. As if we had stepped into another time. No rushing, no phones stealing our attention, but boots in the snow, chopping wood in the fresh outdoor air and the crackling sound of fire slowly getting started. The nature house felt not like a stay, but an experience - exactly as a house should be. Robust, warm, honest - we stood outside during the day, red cheeks from the cold and the sun reflecting brightly off the snow. Stoking wood while the world seemed to stand still. Smoke slowly billowing up against a clear blue sky. Moments like that when you feel how simple happiness can actually be. Inside, it was cozy and warm. The fireplace burned as if it had been lit especially for us. The light soft and golden, the atmosphere relaxed. We played board games as if we were children again - fanatical, laughing, sometimes deadly serious. No screens, just real conversations. Good food on the table, long evenings full of stories,

Wat een weekend. Alsof we een andere tijd zijn binnengestapt. Geen haast, geen telefoons die onze aandacht stelen, maar laarzen in de sneeuw, hout hakken in de frisse buitenlucht en het knisperende geluid van vuur dat langzaam op gang komt. Het natuurhuisje voelde niet als een verblijf, maar als een beleving – precies zoals een huisje hoort te zijn. Robuust, warm, eerlijk.

Overdag stonden we buiten, met rode wangen van de kou en het zonnetje dat fel weerkaatste op de sneeuw. Hout stoken terwijl de wereld stil leek te staan. De rook die langzaam omhoog kringelde tegen een strakblauwe lucht. Dat soort momenten waarop je voelt hoe simpel geluk eigenlijk kan zijn.

Binnen was het knus en warm. De open haard brandde alsof hij speciaal voor ons was aangestoken. Het licht zacht en goudkleurig, de sfeer ontspannen. We speelden bordspellen alsof we weer kinderen waren – fanatiek, lachend, soms bloedserieus. Geen schermen, alleen echte gesprekken. Goed eten op tafel, lange avonden vol verhalen,

Fully equipped.

Van alle gemakken voorzien.

What a lovely cottage this is. Enjoyed the garden and the dog too, we will definitely come back again.

Wat een heerlijk huisje is dit. Genoten van de tuin en de hond ook.

The atmosphere is really super. Unique property and wonderful to stay in. The dog has enjoyed the freedom in the huge garden but also outside could walk in the adjacent forest plots. Nice to sit by the wood stove and day later by the fire outside. Village is close, half hour walk, and cozy. This was a topper.

De sfeer is echt super. Uniek object en heerlijk om in te verblijven. De hond heeft genoten van de vrijheid in de enorme tuin maar ook daarbuiten heerlijk kunnen wandelen in de aangrenzende bospercelen. Lekker bij de houtkachel gezeten en dag later bij het vuurtje buiten. Dorpje is dichtbij, half uurtje lopen, en gezellig. Dit was een topper.
