Welcome to nature-rich Havelte, the pearl of Drenthe! This in 2023 completed house on ± 500 m² of land is located on a small recreation park without facilities such as reception, playground etc. Rest assured so. This wheelchair accessible vacation home is located between fields and woods. The villa has an enclosed garden, terrace of 50 m² with luxury garden furniture and a waterfront deck. In addition, two bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms, one of each on the ground floor which makes the house suitable for several generations. The floor heating throughout the house, the luxurious furnishings, free wifi and air conditioning in all rooms ensure a comfortable stay. From the French doors there is a green view over the waterfront garden. Your bike can be stored in the shed. There is parking for two cars, one of which is under the carport. Charging point available.
Nature and surroundings
The house is the ideal base for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. Located between three national parks (Weerribben, Dwingelderveld and Drents-Friese Wold) you have the many intersection routes to choose from. Within 1 kilometer away is a winery. At 5 kilometers away you can visit the beautiful nature reserve Holtingerveld, with vast forests, moors and sand drifts. The nature reserve also offers attractions such as a butterfly garden, sheep pen, dolmens, golf course and the airplane runway with bomb holes from WWII. The village of Havelte offers sufficient facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool, supermarket, snack bar, various catering establishments and nice little stores. For a day of broader shopping you can go to the nearby (± 10 km) historic towns of Meppel or Steenwijk. For even more extensive shopping you can go to Zwolle (30 km) or Assen (40 km). At 15 km you can rent a whisper boat in the water village of Giethoorn.
