A traditional Swedish house for 4 people sits right by a river that flows into the lake Kymmen 200 m further south. Fäbron is a spacious house with a big terrace, renovated in 2023. It is an ideal choice for those who wish to enjoy Swedish nature right by the water. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen, dining room, living room and a bathroom. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a double bed. There is a small fireplace for wood in the dining room. The property is not equipped with WiFi, but the area has good mobile coverage. Grill, outdoor furniture and a rowing boat are also available.
Nature and surroundings
Värmland is a natural gem; wooded land is covered with 10.000 lakes and the longest river in Sweden, Klara, flows into the biggest lake of western Europe, Vänern. This place is rightly called the most picturesque spot in Sweden. Fäbron is located amidst the mixed forests only 15 kilometers from the Norwegian border, next to the lake Kymmen. Directly in the area are kilometers of marked hiking trails and interpretive walks. It is easy to combine hiking with a visit to an open-air museum. There is also a moose safari nearby. You can try fishing, the river flows just 30 meters around the house - pikes, perches, and other white fish are most common in this area. A rowing boat is available for free. Forest fruits - yet another treasure of the surrounding nature: mushrooms, raspberries, blueberries, cranberries…
