It’s close to the dunes and the tulip-growing region, yet also centrally located near several cities. Amsterdam is a 20-minute drive away, as are Haarlem and Leiden. The terrace offers unobstructed views of the lake and often promises the most beautiful sunsets, which become even more special when enjoyed from the warm hot tub on a chilly day. The Lodge is located in the Green Heart along the Braassem. It’s a beautiful area for biking, hiking, fishing, boating, and more. The location is perfect during tulip season—the most beautiful tulip fields are just 10–15 minutes away. The Dutch coast is also easily accessible. Day trips to Archeon, Avifauna, Hortus Botanicus, and Corpus—or cities like Amsterdam, Leiden, and Haarlem—are also very convenient. Enjoy a wonderful unobstructed view of the Braassemermeer with the most beautiful sunsets. With such an unobstructed view, every type of weather is a spectacle to behold. Wind force 9? Settle in by the wood-burning stove with a book and enjoy the high waves on the lake. Even thunderstorms are an impressive experience, and you’ll also see all kinds of beautiful flora and fauna here.
