ALSO FOR 1 NIGHT TO BOOK :) Our retreat house (tinyhouse) is a new (2025) 20 ft, self-finished, insulated shipping container (13m2) with large windows and a door with glass for lots of natural light and everything that should be present for a comfortable stay. Among others, a fine shower, toilet, kitchen with fridge freezer, 2 burner induction hob, a small oven, espresso machine, kettle and full kitchen utensils. A 160x210 cm. bed with an Auping quality mattress. Also present are towels and comforters with cover and pillows. A lovely armchair to read a book in the evening, a TV, internet, heating and air conditioning, a small terrace outside, with tea herbs where you can pick fresh (depending on the season). Our cat Momo roams freely around the grounds and may come for a sweet visit from time to time. Check-in from 2 p.m. (until 8 p.m.) and late check-out until 2 p.m., so long enjoy your stay.
Nature and surroundings
Our stay is booked for mini retreat, rest, silence, relaxation, reflection and all that you need. We can guide you in that. Making your own retreat with rest, walking and relaxing is of course also possible. From the Retreat House there are many beautiful shorter or longer walks possible. The area is located near the Asseltse plassen, the Maas and the Swalm. Within walking distance (1000 meters) there is also an AH supermarket, a little further (2 km.) Also a Lidl and Aldi. There are also 2 restaurants with terraces (overlooking the water) at 500 meters walking distance. The center of Roermond, the old Market and Roerkade with its many cozy restaurants, the Outletcenter, and among other things a cinema is 25 minutes by bike (3 km.).
