Beautifully remodeled, very well cared for and well thought out. Simple, sleek and tastefully decorated. Very well stocked kitchen with all options to cook for yourself. The stairs have 1 sturdy handrail so even my 86 year old mother could get up and down fairly easily. Nice bathroom with wonderful shower.
Mooi verbouwd, zeer goed verzorgd en goed uitgedacht. Eenvoudig, strak en smaakvol ingericht. Zeer goed gevulde keuken met alle mogelijkheden om zelf te koken. De trap heeft 1 stevige leuning waardoor zelfs mijn moeder van 86 redelijk makkelijk op en neer naar boven kon.

The front view over the dunes is phenomenal, we stood watching the sunrise every morning and enjoyed the play of light over the fog. Just behind the cottage is a nice open stretch of agricultural land. It is far enough away from the beginning of the Brouwersdam not to hear any traffic from there.You are with 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes cycling at the dunes and the beach at the lighthouse and that is a piece of natural beach without catering, there is a toilet. For the pieces of beach with catering you have to go a little further, or on the Brouwersdam, or a little further north in the village but always close. The village of Ouddorp is also cozy with plenty of stores and restaurants. A discovery was Goedereede, a cute mini town spared in the war and during the flood. Nice for a walk and a cup of coffee!

Je bent met 5 minuten rijden of 10 minuten fietsen bij de duinen en het strand bij de vuurtoren en dat is een stuk natuurstrand zonder horeca, er is wel een toilet. Voor de stukken strand met horeca moet je iets verder gaan, of op de Brouwersdam, of iets Noordelijker in het dorp maar altijd dicht bij. Ook het dorp Ouddorp is gezellig met ruim aanbod aan winkels en horeca. Een ontdekking was Goedereede, een schattig mini stadje dat gespaard is gebleven in de oorlog en bij de watersnood.
