We had a wonderful time at this beautiful place. The weather was fantastic, so we were able to use the outdoor kitchen the whole time. The swimming pond is so beautiful—even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Because of the tropical temperatures, we made the most of it. We slept in the container itself instead of in the cottage because we found it too hot, and we also had a really nice view from there of the swimming pond and even the chickens on the other side. We really enjoyed this beautiful spot. I can imagine that in rainy weather the experience would have been completely different, and you really get the most out of it when the weather is nice. But all temperatures and seasons have their charms. We really enjoyed it. Thank you, David, for sending us all the details right after booking and for the smooth communication. We hebben een heerlijke tijd beleefd op deze prachtige plek. We hadden fantastisch weer waardoor we de buitenkeuken hele tijd konden gebruiken. De zwemvijver is zo prachtig. In het echt nog mooier dan op de foto's.. door de tropische temperaturen heel erg veel gebruik hiervan gemaakt. Wij hebben in de container zelf geslapen ipv in het huisje zelf omdat we het te warm vonden en we bovendien een heel mooi uitzicht hadden van daaruit op de zwemvijver en zelfs aan de andere kant op de kippen. Heel erg genoten van deze prachtige plek. Ik kan me wel voorstellen dat bij regenweer de beleving totaal anders zou geweest zijn en je echt er het meeste uit kan halen bij mooi weer. Maar alle temperaturen en seizoenen hebben zijn charmes. Heel erg genoten. Dank je wel David om direct na boeking alles duidelijk door te sturen en de vlotte communicatie. The entrance is a little hard to find, but that’s also a sign of the privacy you’ll enjoy. It’s lovely to open the French doors to the garden and enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the birds singing.
The bed is built about 1 meter off the ground, so it’s quite a climb—though it’s manageable with a chair. You’ll need to be physically able; otherwise, it won’t work. The surroundings are peaceful, with a small wooded area to walk through. Unfortunately, I had to head home early, but I definitely plan to come back at least once.

Ingang is een beetje moeilijk te vinden, maar is ook meteen indicatie voor de privacy. Lekker, openslaande tuindeuren open en genieten van een kopje koffie en de vogelgeluiden.
Bed is op ongeveer 1 meter hoogte gebouwd en is wel een stuk klimmen, wat via een stoel goed te doen is. Je moet geen beperkingen hebben, dan lukt het niet. Omgeving is rustig, stukje bos om in te lopen. Moest helaas eerder naar huis, maar ben van plan om zeker een keer terug te komen

It’s a very pleasant place—quiet, with nothing but the sound of birds. The cottage is fully equipped. There’s a natural garden with all kinds of plants that can be used for medicinal purposes. The owner has built this up over the course of four years—kudos to him.

Het is een erg plezierige plek, rustig, je hoort alleen de vogeltjes. Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een natuurtuin met allerlei planten die men medicinaal kan gebruiken. Eigenaar heeft dit in 4jaar tijd opgebouwd, complimenten.

Heel mooi en fijn huisje

Very nice cottage and a beautiful garden. In the kitchen everything available. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain and could not enjoy the nature and garden. Surrounding villages are not necessarily worth a visit. Sauna and swimming pond are lovely. The only drawback is the lack of curtains in both living room and bedroom, this makes you wake up early and feels like little privacy. Host is incredibly nice and fine in communication. Outdoor kitchen was very nice.

Erg fijn huisje en een prachtige tuin. In de keuken alles aanwezig. Helaas veel regen gehad en weinig kunnen genieten van de natuur en tuin. Omliggende dorpjes zijn niet perse de moeite waard voor een bezoek. Sauna en zwemvijver zijn heerlijk. Het enige nadeel is het ontbreken van gordijnen in zowel woonkamer als slaapkamer, hierdoor wordt je vroeg wakker en voelt het als weinig privacy. Gastheer is ontzettend aardig en fijn in communicatie. Buitenkeuken was heel fijn.
