Large towels and firewood are included. The sauna is available from October 1 through April 1. A group house for up to 16 people is available for rent 100 m from the Lodge. Nature and surroundings
The Buurserzand nature reserve is within walking distance. The Haaksbergerveen and 't Witte Veen are about 3 km away. We have a very comprehensive map ready for you with many biking and hiking trails starting right from the house! For example, take the roe deer walk—3 or 10 km—which winds through the forest, along the Buurserbeek, and across the Buurserzand heath. With a little luck, you might spot a few roe deer. The 5-km Wakel Walk is also highly recommended; halfway through this route, you can enjoy coffee and a delicious slice of apple pie right in the middle of the heath. You’ll also find other tips about the surrounding area in the folder. The Trekvogelpad trail runs practically right past the door. For more excitement and culture, head to Enschede or Haaksbergen. From October through April, after an active day outdoors, you can warm up in the new outdoor sauna.

Als je met z’n 4en het huisje boekt; de trap kraakt enorm, wat stoort als je ‘s avonds laat / ‘s nachts naar bed of het toilet gaat. Het enige toilet is trouwens beneden, dus ‘s nachts is de trap daarvoor niet te ontwijken.
Daarbij twee hele kleine dingetjes;
De kussens zijn aan de zachte kant. Blij dat we onze eigen kussens hebben genomen. De dekens waren voor ons iets te kort (twee vrouwen langer dan 1,77m, twee mannen langer dan 1,90m).
Maar we hebben dit uiteraard met geen mogelijkheid de pret laten bederven. Enorm goede tijd gehad!Wat een geweldig gezellig huisje, en wat een goede hosts! Daarnaast echt een enorm mooi gebied, zo ontdek je weer eens plekjes.
We verblijven hier graag nogmaals! -
