Welcome! With love and attention rebuilt and decorated and we hope you can enjoy it as much as we do. The luxury cottage with spa is fully equipped: good box spring beds, fully equipped kitchen, hot tub, sauna, outdoor shower, 2 bathrooms, internet, TV and a lovely conservatory in the evening of the fireplace to enjoy! The cottage is cozy enough for two to rent (then you rent only downstairs: 1 slpkmr + ensuite bathroom) but can accommodate up to 8 people. The living room with open kitchen and dining area is +/- 30m2 keep that in mind if you want to book with 8 adults. We recommend max 6 adults, but for a booking of 2 families for example, the cottage is very suitable. The fireplace heats the conservatory, so even in winter you can sit here super cozy! All in all: enjoy the coziness with spacious bedrooms, sauna, hot tub, fireplace and each other! Note: we ask 40e contribution for unlimited wood use!
Nature and surroundings
Our cottage is located in the forest. Wake up to the birds, you hear nothing else here! The path behind the house leads you directly into the forest. There are several houses in this forest but because of the distance between plots (our plot: 1000m2) there is enough privacy. The charming village of Norg is within walking distance (15-20 min) but we recommend to explore the area by bike. 2 bicycles are included in the rent, as well as 4 children's bikes. By bike you go to Norg (5-10min) to eat an ice cream, go out for dinner or join the local pub quiz. Or you bike to the old prison colony Veenhuizen with its museum and typical houses with unique hospitality and crafts(30min). And furthermore there are miles of walking and cycling paths in this area leading to unique nature places and villages. Assen, Groningen and Drachten are the nearest larger cities. By car 15-20-40 minutes.
