Our nature house is located along the Ghent-Bruges Canal and the F6 bike highway. Our vacation home for 6 people offers all the comforts you need to unwind. (In the summer, you can set up a tent on the beautiful lawn behind the house.) Carefree enjoyment of the birds chirping in the woods, baking a delicious pizza in the Utenovn on the spacious terrace, or sipping an aperitif in the wood-fired Welvaere hot tub with sweeping views of the fields—that’s what a nature house is all about. Inside, you’ll find every comfort for a cozy get-together. Play a game or curl up on the couch and stream your favorite movie. Our nature house is located right in the middle between the cities of Ghent and Bruges (a 25-minute drive) and just 20 minutes from the coast. Public electric charging is available just 50 meters from our nature house.

Pick a spot in the woods to read your favorite book. Kids can build a real camp! There’s also a beautiful lawn behind the cottage. There’s plenty of room to play outside or sunbathe. There are wonderful hiking trails nearby, marked-out bike routes, or you can plan your own bike ride using the junction points—all the information is available at the cottage. Or would you rather be on the water? Right across from the cottage, you can dive straight into the Ghent-Bruges Canal. The Meetjesland region has a lot to offer. When you book, you’ll immediately receive a pack of useful information to help you explore the area! Wood for the hot tub/stove is provided in stacking bins. Two bins are included in the price, enough for a weekend of hot tub fun. Additional wood costs 7.00 EUR per bin; this amount will be deducted from your security deposit.
