The houseboat is moored peacefully at the dock in the harbor of the Woudrichem Water Sports Association, with an unobstructed view of the Afgedamde Maas. Here, you’ll wake up to the sound of lapping water and enjoy the tranquility, while the historic fortified town of Woudrichem is within walking distance. In and around Woudrichem, you’ll discover charming streets, great restaurants, beautiful bike routes, and a surprising amount of nature. AquaHome can be booked for a minimum of 2 nights. Please note: the houseboat is a permanent residence and is not intended for cruising.
Nature and surroundings
The area around AquaHome is perfect for lovers of nature, water, hiking, and biking. Woudrichem is a charming fortified town in the popular “Vestingdriehoek” (Fortress Triangle), along with Gorinchem and Loevestein Castle. From the houseboat, you can walk right into the historic center, passing through old streets, city walls, the harbor, the windmill, and cozy waterfront terraces. Nature lovers will also feel right at home here. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find beautiful hiking and biking trails along dikes, floodplains, and river landscapes. The Groesplaat is a wonderful spot for a peaceful walk in nature. And the Biesbosch and surrounding wetlands are easily accessible for a day trip. Thanks to the ferry and boat connections, you can easily cross over to Gorinchem or Loevestein Castle. This makes AquaHome an ideal base for a versatile stay: culture, nature, relaxation, and great food come together perfectly here.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €200.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
