Nature house in Den Hoorn

- The description states that the garbage should be separated, but there was no provision for this - There is no designated approach route to the vacation rental even though it is necessary due to one-way traffic on a narrow road; at first we drove against traffic. Fortunately no oncoming traffic - Next to the master bedroom there is a facility outside for a heat pump and/or air conditioner which is noisy. With earplugs we slept well, but too bad for nature experiences at night like the wind rustling through the trees

- In de omschrijving staat dat het afval gescheiden moet worden, maar er was daar geen voorziening voor.
- Er is geen aanrijroute aangegeven naar de vakantiewoning terwijl dat wel noodzakelijk is vanwege eenrichtingsverkeer op een smalle weg; in het begin zijn we tegen het verkeer ingereden. Gelukkig geen tegenligger.
- Naast de masterbedroom staat buiten een voorziening voor een warmtepomp en/of airco die lawaaiig is. Met oordoppen hebben we goed geslapen, maar wel jammer voor natuurbeleving 's nachts zoals het ruisen van de wind door de bomen

Modern (very good kitchen, with excellent electric stove and oven), bright, beautiful view, 15 minutes cycling from beach and beach pavilion (Twelve) open all year. Recommended is bird watching excursion through Vogel InformatiePunt in De Cocksdorp. With an unlikely well-stocked store. Binoculars, books, maps, bird food, nesting boxes.

Modern (hele goede keuken, met uitstekend elektrisch fornuis en oven), licht, fraai uitzicht, 15 minuten fietsen van strand en strandpaviljoen (Twaalf) dat het hele jaar open is. Aanrader is vogelkijkexcursie via Vogel InformatiePunt in De Cocksdorp. Met een onwaarschijnlijk goed gesorteerde winkel. Verrekijkers, boeken, kaarten, vogelvoer, nestkasten.

It is a luxury house, not what we expected from our previous experiences with a nature house. Unfortunately, the info folder and the scarcity of products (trash bags, spices, etc) really made it seem like a house on a large vacation park. It also made us question the sustainability of the way it was then (new cleaning cloths and dish brush every new booking). This also made it lack some charm for us. On a practical level, we missed waste bins in the bathroom and bedroom with sink and so as mentioned before some basic items like oil, spices, etc. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the views, the horses and the orchard.

Het is een luxe huis, niet wat wij hadden verwacht vanuit onze eerdere ervaringen met een natuurhuisje. De infomap en de schaarste producten (vuilniszakken, kruiden, etc) deden het helaas echt lijken op een huis op een groot vakantiepark. Ook vragen we ons af of het dan wel zo duurzaam is zoals dat gebeurt (iedere nieuwe boeking nieuwe poetsdoeken en afwasborstel). Ook miste het daardoor voor ons wat charme.
Op praktisch vlak misten we afvalbakken in de badkamer en slaapkamer met wastafel en dus zoals eerder gezegd wat basisartikelen zoals olie, kruiden, etc.
Desalniettemin hebben we genoten van de uitzichten, de paarden en de boomgaard.

The cottage is next to a large vacation park but at the back there is the peace, space and nature.

Het huisje ligt naast een groot vakantiepark maar aan de achterzijde is er de rust, ruimte en natuur.

The freedom and space all around. Everything well taken care of.

De vrijheid en de ruimte rondom. Alles goed verzorgd.

Beautiful cottage. Nice decor, lots of light and a full kitchen, not to mention the outdoor shower!

Mooi huisje. Leuk ingericht, veel licht en een complete keuken.
En niet te vergeten de buitendouche!
