Nature house in Huijbergen

The cottage is very comfortable and clean. We found it spacious enough for our party of 4 adults, a baby and a dog. Sebastian and Sandra helped us with tips for the area.The only disturbing thing we found was the smell of the stove (which we did not use) on the first floor.We would very much like to come back again to enjoy the tranquility and the hiking paradise.

Het huisje is erg comfortabel en schoon. We vonden het ruim genoeg voor ons gezelschap van 4 volwassenen, een baby en een hond. Sebastiaan en Sandra hielpen ons met tips voor de omgeving.
Het enige storende vonden we de geur van de kachel (die we niet gebruikten) op de benedenverdieping.
Wij komen heel graag nog eens terug om te genieten van de rust en het wandelparadijs.

The cottage is wonderfully located in a quiet neighborhood. The Kalmthoutse heather is nearby. We particularly enjoyed the concert of bird sounds in the garden.

Het huisje is heerlijk gelegen in een rustige wijk. De Kalmthoutse heide is vlakbij. We genoten in het bijzonder van het concert van vogelgeluiden in de tuin.

Top and very well cared for cottage. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The personalized card and something nice were very nice. The beds sleep great and the wood stove is a nice experience. Also very nice that there is a washing machine. A few well-intentioned tips: we missed some mood lighting in the living room. An electrical outlet and hooks in the bathroom would be handy. We ourselves had not thought of a bath mat; this could possibly be mentioned in the description. This is really necessary. A shelf in the shower for soap would be practical. In the kitchen we missed storage space for groceries, e.g., an extra shelf in the pantry? A fruit bowl, an extra/thicker comforter in the closet (was cold) and a hair dryer in the bathroom would be nice additions. A minus point we found was that the dishes were not allowed in the dishwasher upon departure. It would be nice to be able to just turn on the dishwasher. Especially with small kids! ;) All in all we had a very nice stay.

Top en zeer verzorgd huisje. Alles was bij aankomst heel schoon. Het persoonlijke kaartje en iets lekkers waren erg leuk. De bedden slapen heerlijk en de houtkachel is een fijne beleving. Ook heel prettig dat er een wasmachine is. Alles is aanwezig.

Enkele goedbedoelde tips: we misten wat sfeerverlichting in de woonkamer. Een stopcontact en haakjes in de badkamer zouden handig zijn. Wij hadden zelf niet aan een badmat gedacht; dit zou eventueel vermeld kunnen worden in de beschrijving. Deze is wel echt nodig. Een rekje in de douche voor zeep zou praktisch zijn. In de keuken misten we opbergruimte voor boodschappen, bijv. een extra plank in de pannenkast? Een fruitschaal, een extra/dikker dekbed in de kast (was koud) en een föhn in de badkamer zouden fijne toevoegingen zijn.

Een minpunt vonden wij dat de vaat niet in de vaatwasser mocht bij vertrek. Het is prettig zijn om de vaatwasser gewoon aan te kunnen zetten. Helemaal met kleine kids! ;)

Al met al een heel fijn verblijf gehad.

Really a super nice cottage! Beautiful place. If you sit in the living room you imagine yourself in the forest. Beautiful garden! Birds you hear everywhere and lots of rest! You also walk into the woods.

Echt een super fijn huisje! Prachtige plek. Als je in de woonkamer zit dan waan je je in het bos. Prachtige tuin! Vogeltjes hoor je overal en veel rust! Je loopt ook zo de bossen in.
