Nature house in Koekange

The cottage is very well-equipped and has everything you could possibly need, though you can see some signs of wear and tear. The shower and kitchen aren’t very large but are perfectly adequate. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, which is nice because it means you don’t have to wash them up every time you take a break. The hot tub is perfect and well worth booking as an add-on. There are also plenty of games and books in case the weather turns bad and you can’t go out. The large covered area next to the house is perfect, with a beautiful patio set underneath—which came in very handy during the few light showers we had, allowing us to stay outside comfortably. All in all, a perfect cottage, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Het huisje is zeer compleet en alles wat je maar kan bedenken is aanwezig, maar je ziet wel dat er wat gebruikers sporen zijn. De douche en keuken zijn niet erg groot maar voldoen prima. De keuken heeft veel servies wat er fijn is zodat je niet elke keer tussendoor hoeft af te wassen. De jacuzzi is perfect en een aanwinst om bij te boeken. Tevens zijn er veel spelletjes en boeken mocht het weer tegen vallen en je er niet op uit kunt. De grote overkapping aan het huis is perfect met een prachtige tuinset er onder wat erg goed van pas kwam tijdens de paar kleine buitjes die we gehad hebben en je hierdoor rustig buiten kunt blijven zitten. Al met al een perfect huisje en wij hebben ontzettend genoten.

The cottage was very conveniently located in a wooded area with a back entrance that led directly into the woods. It’s perfectly peaceful. A beautiful location for a bike ride and not far from the village of Koekange, where there’s a good supermarket.

Het huisje lag zeer gunstig gelegen in bosrijk gebied met een achteruitgang waardoor je direct in de bossen kunt wandelen. De rust is perfect. Erg mooie ligging voor een fietstocht en niet ver van het dorp Koekange waar een goede supermarkt is.

The cottage itself is a bit on the small side, but the garden and all the amenities more than make up for it. Every detail has been thought of; everything is well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The owner is also very thoughtful and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Het is huisje zelf is ietwat aan de kleine kant, maar de tuin plus alle voorzieningen compenseren dat volledig. Er is overal aan gedacht, alles is netjes onderhouden en super schoon. De eigenaresse is ook heel attent en behulpzaam. bijzonder goed bevallen.

It's truly a wonderful place. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful. The property is completely surrounded by greenery, giving you plenty of privacy and ensuring you won't be bothered by neighbors at all.

Echt een geweldige plek. Super rustige omgeving. Het perceel is helemaal omringd met groen, waardoor je super veel privacy hebt en totaal geen last van anderen in de omgeving.

The cottage is clean, tidy, and fully equipped. They’ve really thought of everything—there’s a comprehensive app with tips on the surrounding area and helpful videos explaining how the various appliances in the cottage work.

The host is easy to reach, thinks along with you, and is very helpful. Be sure to book the jacuzzi as well. After a long walk, it’s wonderful to relax your muscles and unwind completely in the warm water.

Het huisje is schoon, netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is echt aan alles gedacht want is er een uitgebreide app met tips over de omgeving en handige filmpjes waarin wordt uitgelegd hoe de verschillende apparaten in het huisje werken.

De gastvrouw is goed bereikbaar, denkt met je mee en is erg behulpzaam. Boek ook zeker de jacuzzi erbij. Na een lange wandeling is het heerlijk om je spieren te ontspannen en helemaal tot rust te komen in het warme water.

The cottage and the surrounding area are truly beautiful. If you take the time to get up early, you’ll be treated to the sight of many different birds and squirrels scampering through the garden.

It’s lovely to sit under the canopy in the morning with a cup of coffee and grab a bird book from the shelf to look up the different bird species you see.

If you walk through the gate out of the garden and into the woods, and you’re very quiet, you might even spot a fawn darting away!

There are beautiful walks to be had in the area. When planning your trip, keep in mind that you’re not allowed to walk your dog in the grazing area.

Het huisje en de omgeving zijn echt prachtig. Wie de tijd neemt om vroeg op te staan, wordt getrakteerd op de aanwezigheid van veel verschillende vogels en eekhoorns die door de tuin huppelen.

Het is heerlijk om ’s ochtends onder de overkapping te zitten met een kop koffie en een vogelboek uit de kast erbij te pakken om de verschillende vogelsoorten die je ziet op te zoeken.

Loop je door het poortje de tuin uit en het bos in, en ben je heel stil, dan zie je misschien zelfs een reetje wegschieten!

In de omgeving kun je prachtige wandelingen maken. Houd er met het plannen van je tocht wel rekening mee dat je met de hond niet in het begrazingsgebied mag lopen.
