We love to tell you about it when you're there, because the name Escape does not just come from somewhere. During your stay you have a detached lodge that was recently renovated and furnished as a forest house. Fully equipped with a bathroom, central heating, wood stove and porch for those extra cozy evenings. There is no cooking facility in the lodge. If you wish we can prepare a breakfast for you in the fridge but you can also do your shopping in nearby Putten or Ermelo. You can indicate your preference when booking. A refrigerator is available. The tourist tax of 1,79 p.p.p.n. is to be paid on the spot.
Nature and surroundings
Once you enter the forest you drive a few kilometers on a rising dirt road and suddenly you are in the middle of the Speulder- and Sprielderbos. There you will find the B&B surrounded by old Douglas firs, larches, oaks and beeches, where deer, roe deer, owls and boars have their habitat. From the B&B you walk directly into the wide lanes and small paths and before you know it you are on the Ermelose heath or at the mysterious Solse Gat. Blessed place in, next to and under the trees ... lots of privacy and beautiful walking forest right after the gate. Unfortunately I had a lot of rain and then t is extra dark in t forest ... and t house! House otherwise super decorated and without TV you come eventually fine your time by ... there is plenty to read. Well done and nice place to detox from more unnatural stimuli! Furthermore, the hosts do their name to their credit!
Zalig plekje in, naast en onder de bomen…veel privacy en prachtig wandelbos direct na de poort.
Jammergenoeg had ik veel regen en dan wordt t wel extra donker in t bos..én t huisje!
Huisje verder super ingericht en zonder tv kom je uiteindelijk fijn je tijd door..er ligt van alles te lezen.
Goed gedaan en mooie plek om te ontgiften van onnatuurlijkere prikkels!

Stayed 2 nights and we really enjoyed it. Super friendly and hospitable hosts who want to make you feel at home. The cottage is very cozy and fully equipped. The area is beautiful and peaceful. We had our dog and in the vicinity we could walk. If you want to relax in peace then this is definitely a must.
2 Nachten verbleven en we hebben echt genoten. Super vriendelijke en gastvrije gastheren die het je compleet naar de zin willen maken.
Het huisje is super sfeervol en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt erbij geboekt en dat was goed verzorgd.
De omgeving is prachtig en heerlijk rustig. Wij hadden onze hond mee en in de nabije omgeving konden we lekker wandelen.
