Hello, we’re Ronnie and Fransiska, and together with our four children, four dogs, our ponies, and cows, we live in the countryside in Witharen. The house is located on our property, but you’ll still have complete privacy and an unobstructed view of the surrounding fields. The house is fully equipped for 6 people, but upstairs there is a single bed (70x200 cm), which is no problem for children. The stairs in the house are quite steep! Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or for tips—almost anything is possible with a little discussion. So if you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate to contact us. We don’t appreciate noise late into the night.
Nature and surroundings
If you want to completely unwind and enjoy nature, you’ve come to the right place. Witharen is located between the Reestdal and the beautiful Vechtdal, and just around the corner—within walking distance—is the Ommerschans, a stunning landscape steeped in history, where traces of the past are still visible. In the summer, you can enjoy a swim at the Heuveltjesbosbad in Balkbrug or sit on a terrace along the Vecht in Ommen. There are also plenty of activities for children nearby, such as Slagharen Amusement Park or the climbing forest in Ommen. Just around the corner from us, you can also rent e-bikes and fat bikes to go on beautiful rides.

Spacious house, spacious bedrooms and excellent beds. The living room is a bit dark and cool which is nice in summer. Extensive kitchen.

Cottage on a quiet road in a quiet yard next to the residence. Nice base for several walks you have to drive to. A front yard where you overlook the farmlands and can see beautiful sunsets.
