Hello, we’re Ronnie and Fransiska, and together with our four children, four dogs, our ponies, and cows, we live in the countryside in Witharen. The house is located on our property, but you’ll still have complete privacy and an unobstructed view of the countryside. The house is fully equipped for 6 people, but upstairs there is a single bed (70x200), which is no problem for children. The stairs in the house are quite steep! Feel free to contact us anytime with questions or for tips—almost anything is possible if we discuss it together. So if you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to reach out. The lawn in front of the house and the two parking spots are part of the property; please keep the driveway clear, as well as the lawn in front of our house. Any additional cars must be parked on the street.
Nature and surroundings
If you want to completely relax and enjoy nature, you’ve come to the right place. Witharen is located between the Reestdal and the beautiful Vechtdal, and just around the corner—within walking distance—is the Ommerschans, a stunning landscape steeped in history, where traces of the past are still visible. In the summer, you can enjoy a swim at the Heuveltjesbosbad in Balkbrug or sit on a patio along the Vecht River in Ommen. There are also plenty of things for kids to do nearby, such as Slagharen Amusement Park or the climbing forest in Ommen. Just around the corner from us, you can also rent choppers and fat bikes to go on beautiful rides.
