Nature and surroundings

Our Pods are located on our charming farmyard, in the heart of a polder landscape near Zuid-Scharwoude (municipality of Dijk en Waard). Enjoy sweeping views and the authentic outdoor life. The pods are situated in a clearing near the RV park and overlook the surrounding meadows. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, shopping, or a day trip. For example, visit the Schoorl Dunes, the beach at Bergen aan Zee, the “Kingdom of a Thousand Islands,” or stop by the Broekerveiling Museum (2.1 km). Alkmaar and Schagen are also nearby, offering charming shops, museums, restaurants, and outdoor cafes. Be sure to take a look inside our barn—some friendly “cowgirls” are waiting for you there. Whether you’re coming for peace and quiet, nature, or an active getaway—our farm is the ideal starting point for a relaxing stay in a diverse setting.

You're out in the open with all the farm sounds around you, including all the farm traffic.

We had a wonderful weekend. Everything we needed was there, and it was really nice to have our own bathroom. The shower rooms were spacious and clean. Everything was great. And the umbrella was nice, too.

    Nature, peace & environment: 4 /5

There is a road behind the cottage, but I didn't experience any noise from it. Everything was great.

A great place to use as a base for exploring the surrounding area from the cottage.

    Nature, peace & environment: 3 /5

Beautiful nature and surroundings just a short distance away. There’s plenty of space around the farm. Despite the RV site, the grounds are quiet.
