One of the most beautiful spots along the Meuse River! Our house is a detached home surrounded by a 2000m2 garden. There’s a large deck at the front of the house where you can enjoy a fantastic view. You can also watch the boats go by from the living room. The house features a spacious living room, kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 separate toilets. Check-in and check-out times are based on changeover days. For most bookings, we can be flexible with these times.
Nature and surroundings
Nestled between the Maasduinen, a large forest area, on one side and the meadows and the Maas River on the other. You can walk straight from the house into the forest via a trail; there are many hiking and mountain biking trails here. We highly recommend the hiking trail to Putjesbergen or a visit to the lakes (including Reindersmeer). You’ll really feel like you’re abroad. In front of the house lie the pastures—where cows graze in the summer—and the Meuse River. From here, you’ll come to a small road that’s part of various hiking and biking trails. There’s also a small bicycle ferry that takes you across the Maas so you can explore the beautiful surroundings on the other bank as well. For water sports, there are all kinds of options on the Leukermeer.

Everything was great; the only minor drawback we found was that there is no separate toilet (they’re located in the two—otherwise beautiful—bathrooms).
