"This house represents not only a wonderful accommodation, but also a delicious barbecue!", a group of friends wrote this in the guestbook of this B&B, located on a friendly, active cattle farm. "Thanks for your good care! It was super" they still write. It is precisely that farmhouse hospitality that made Cees and Lies' future a lot brighter in 2018. In fact, they did not opt for scaling up, but for reorganizing the farm with a B&B/holiday house and selling their own beef as a side branch. If you are a group of 6 to 12 people, you can rent the entire building as a vacation home for a minimum of 2 nights. You then have the entire accommodation for yourself, 3, 4 or 5 rooms (depending on the size of the group) and all facilities. It is then also possible to open the sliding wall between the MIVA room and the accommodation area, so that people who need to keep the bed a lot can still be involved in the group.
Nature and surroundings
Whichever window you look out of, there you see meadows. In those meadows you will see cows and calves grazing with some regularity and with a little luck you will see a deer, hare, pheasant, a pair of partridges or a lapwing. What you are sure to see is farmer Cees on his tractor, as the B&B is located on an active cattle farm. In the vicinity are nice options for the short distance walker, for example a block around the pastures of the farm or in the nearby forest 'Het Hurkske' where also wheelchair accessible trails can be found. Also for the lover of cycling tours, vacation home In de wei, located on the cycle junction network, is a good starting point. Get your heart racing and choose routes through natural beauty or through picturesque paths towards various beautiful towns or castles in the area. Bike rental is provided in cooperation with the local bike store.
