We like to let people enjoy our beautiful location from where you can enjoy cycling, hiking, swimming in natural water and exploring nearby Germany. Bad Bentheim, center of Gronau or the so famous Lutterzand it is all within biking distance. Or the lesser known but beautiful nature reserves nearby such as the Duivelshof and the Haagse Bos, or the arboretum Poort Bulten in De Lutte. Within walking distance you reach, from our location, in 15 minutes the first foothills of the Gilderhauser Venn. And swimming in Drilandersee is highly recommended, 20 minutes by bike. In the evening, a bike ride to Gronau via the Lagaroute, over the Dinkel with an Italian ice cream parlor as final destination is a fine end to a summer day. In the cabin you will find several suggestions for beautiful walks, bike rides and directions to the nearby (swimming) lake.

Jeanette and Lute are very friendly and generous hosts. They were flexible for me to add another person to the booking a few days before we came and they even set up a barbeque for us to use one evening! My daughter and her friend loved the trampoline and the swings. A special highlight was their son giving a demonstration of his model airplane for us!!! The kitchen and bathroom area for us was perfectly clean, modern and well stocked. Jeanette even welcomed us with juices and a piece of cake. We felt very well cared for!
