Plenty of privacy. We have provided beds with comfortable mattresses. When you arrive, the beds are made. For the back window is a roller gauze screen. This allows you, undisturbed by mosquitoes, to leave the back window, which overlooks a meadow, open. Bistro seating for inside or outside the cabin and a private garden with a romantic bench. Should it get a little cold you can always turn on the heater. Wifi and a USB charging station is available. You can use an outdoor kitchen at our house where sanitary facilities are also available including a hot shower. In the garden we have installed a (cold) outdoor shower. And then barbecue on one of our most beautiful spots in the garden and enjoy the starry sky on a beautiful summer evening. Supermarkets are within walking distance. At 5 minutes cycling distance there is a German bakery where fresh rolls can be bought every day from 7.00.
Nature and surroundings
We like to let people enjoy our beautiful location from where you can enjoy cycling, hiking, swimming in natural water and exploring nearby Germany. Bad Bentheim, center of Gronau or the so famous Lutterzand it is all within biking distance. Or the lesser known but beautiful nature reserves nearby such as the Duivelshof and the Haagse Bos, or the arboretum Poort Bulten in De Lutte. Within walking distance you reach, from our location, in 15 minutes the first foothills of the Gilderhauser Venn. And swimming in Drilandersee is highly recommended, 20 minutes by bike. In the evening, a bike ride to Gronau via the Lagaroute, over the Dinkel with an Italian ice cream parlor as final destination is a fine end to a summer day. In the cabin you will find several suggestions for beautiful walks, bike rides and directions to the nearby (swimming) lake.
