This is my dream home, in the woods where you can go for walks and mountain bike rides. I consider my home a “sacred” place to live and treat it with care. I ask my guests to do the same. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, located in a forest park where quiet is expected. You can relax in the hot tub and sauna. I’m usually traveling in my RV, but sometimes I or a friend stays in the little cottage in the garden. This cottage is completely screened off with bamboo screens and a hedge, and I fully respect your privacy. Note: Cleaning fees include cleaning the hot tub and sauna, replacing bed linens and towels, and electricity costs for the hot tub and sauna.

Nature and surroundings

This nature house is located in a small-scale forest park where people come to relax. As such, there are no entertainment facilities. From the house, you can walk straight into the forest for a hike. You can also hike all the way to the Groote Peel. A 10-kilometer mountain bike trail also starts in the woods behind the cottage. The village of Meijel is very charming and has several good restaurants and a shopping street.

Towels are provided—one per person. If you’re staying for several days, that’s not really enough, especially since there’s a sauna and a hot tub.
The sauna has no lighting, either inside or outside.
And it was quite dusty in some places, such as on the lamp in the bedroom. The bathroom was a bit dirty.

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

The surroundings are beautiful, and the park is well-maintained.

Apparently the bungalow park is notorious for certain practices...?
