A little hideaway among the trees for people who want to unwind and tune in to the sounds of birds. This simple cottage was built 60 years ago and has a small library with books on travel, yoga, meditation, herbs and birds, etc. Since the mobile phone signals are weak here, it’s a good chance to give your telephone a break as well. For those guests who enjoy a back to basic and peaceful stay in nature. Our accommodation is back to basics. The toilet is a dry compost toilet, it’s located in the forest, about 15 meters from the cottage. Hot shower is available next to the main house. There is no kitchen with running water in the cottage, but there is a tap and a space to prepare simple meals close to the main house (50 meters). There is a electric cooling box available. We are a Dutch-Japanese family with a sustainable lifestyle. We would like to share our beautiful place with others so that they can have a peaceful time here. We are looking forward to meeting you!

We are located right in the middle of the woods, about 3 km from the village of Koningsbosch, close to the Haeselaar nature reserve with its rich bird life. This is where The Netherlands is at it’s most narrow, 300 m from Germany and 10 km from Belgium. Our space is about 1 hectare of woodlands, far from the main roads. A great place to relax or meditate and to watch the stars at night! And for artists and writers to get inspiration from nature.
