Nature and surroundings
The accommodation is located between two nature reserves: on one side, the Strabrechtse Heide (which is in bloom in August and part of September!) and on the other side, De Groote Peel. De Groote Peel National Park is a wonderful area for hikers and birdwatchers. The nature reserve is characterized by peatlands, marshes, water, reeds, and scattered pine trees. There is a visitor center where you can find all the information you need about this unique area. The Strabrechtse Heide is a beautiful hiking and biking area that uses a network of junction-based routes for cyclists and hikers. We highly recommend the “Happen en Trappen” route—a day of cycling through this stunning landscape, and delicious meals at five different restaurants. That’s Brabant hospitality at its finest! We went to Heeze for the Brabant Days
We zijn geweest wegens de Brabantse dagen in Heeze
This was my first time staying at a nature house campground in Lier; the accommodations were great, and it was really nice to have the outdoor kitchen. The restrooms at the café were also well-equipped—I really have no complaints about this place.

The adjacent forest cafe is also perfect for a bakkie/beer or lunch, nice terrace and - if it rains - you sit inside also great fun. The sauna - to be fired up with wood - is also super, lying stretched out (I am 2 mtr) is difficult especially if there are more than 2 people in the sauna.
Wat een ontzettend leuke & kleinschalige camping is dit! knus opgezet met alle sanitaire faciliteiten op korte loopafstand. Een leuke buitenkeuken met picnictafels op het grasveld. Het aangrenzende boscafé is ook perfect voor een bakkie/biertje of lunch, leuk terras en - indien het regent - zit je binnen ook geweldig leuk. De sauna - op te stoken met hout - is ook super, languit liggen (ik ben 2 mtr) is lastig zeker als er meer dan 2 personen in de sauna zitten.

Either Strabrechtse Heide and De Groote Peel National Park have much to offer, but the experience in the tent was amazing, the sauna/kitchen and different facilities are great and the pub is lovely.
