Simplicity and reuse are the basis of our yard. Small and compact, among the fruit trees and vegetable garden stands this nature house. A shed, attractively furnished for a quiet stay. Enjoy the chickens and heather sheep roaming around in the meadow. Get lost in a book in the summer sunshine or go sniffing scents in the forest. End the day with a campfire and watch thousands of stars appear in the sky. Thanks to the comfortable sofa bed, it is still spacious inside. There is an equipped kitchenette with a two-burner stove and your own hot outdoor shower, dry toilet and dishwashing kitchenette. In the old house there is a regular toilet, a refrigerator and a microwave/oven. You share this with possible guests of the other mobile homes. Heating is with a small electric heater. "Luxury" is a word that does not suit us. However, the richness and abundance of our yard we like to share.
Nature and surroundings
Go hiking or biking and enjoy Drenthe's agricultural landscape and beautiful natural areas. A fifteen-minute walk from the Braamsluiper is where the forest begins. Old peat mining canals traverse the forests around Elim and Hollandscheveld. In Schoonhoven, a large natural swimming lake 4 km away, is great for swimming and relaxing recreation. National park Het Dwingelderveld is a 20-minute drive away and, with its sand drifts, forests and heathland, offers many days of hiking fun. The vecht valley near Hardenberg offers a varied hiking landscape.
