In October 2022, we saw the nature house for the first time. To get there we had to cross the river in a wooden boat. The adventure had begun! What was a ruin we spent the first months of 2023 transforming into a characteristic and robust house. The house was insulated and fitted with new windows and doors. The upper floor has been converted from loft into cozy space with a bathroom. There is a wood stove in the living room. The house is equipped with all basic comforts and has hot water through boilers. The house is connected to the electricity grid. Water comes with a pump from the Una River. Drinking water is available in bottles. The cottage is accessible via a country road by bicycle or on foot or by wooden boat. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the nature house's neighbors and transferred with luggage. Then you may enjoy paddling to the other side yourself. An adventurous stay guaranteed!

The Nature House is located in the middle of the Una National Park directly on the Una River. The house has 6000 square meters of private land over a length of more than 100 meters along the river. Behind the cottage the slope rises steeply to the old railroad line from Zagreb to Split. The surroundings are plenty of green with enormous biodiversity. It is a mountainous area with peaks up to almost 2000 meters (Mount Klekovaca near the town of Drvar). The famous waterfalls Strbacki Buk and Martin Brod are in the vicinity. At 3 kilometers is the town of Kulen Vakuf with some restaurants where you can eat for a very reasonable price. There are also basic facilities there such as a gas station and supermarkets.
