This spacious 80m2 vacation home has on the ground floor a living room with open-plan kitchen and bathroom. A spiral staircase leads you to a spacious loft bedroom with a king-size bed. On the ground floor is a second 25m2 bedroom with second ensuite private bathroom with rain shower. This room has a sitting area and coffee and tea making facilities, a double bed (Queen size) and a TV. There is a cozy full kitchen with delicious coffee, a milk frother, refrigerator, vegetable steamer, toaster, combination microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a 4-burner induction hob. Coffee and tea are free, as well as drinks in the fridge. Beds are made and towels are provided. You have a private entrance and French doors to your private terrace. Both rooms have their own entrance and can be reached from the inside. So you can go out with family or friends, eat together, but you can also retreat and do your own thing.

A beautiful and very comfortable cottage in peace and quiet. Tamara and Arjan are an excellent host and hostess. Very helpful, lots of great tips for trips and fresh eggs from their cute chickens! Nearby within walking distance is an old mill, which was definitely worth a visit. There are also nice towns and cities in the area like Utrecht, Gouda, Oudewater and Schoonhoven. Beautiful area for hiking, biking and more. The cottage is surrounded by water. Unfortunately due to fog no views but we did see a cormorant catching fish in the stream in front of the living room, kingfisher spotted and and herons taking off above our heads. Top!
Een prachtig en zeer gerieflijk huisje in alle rust. Tamara en Arjan zijn een uitstekende gastheer en gastvrouw. Heel behulpzaam, veel leuke tips voor uitstapjes en verse eitjes van hun schattige kippen! In de omgeving op wandelafstand staat een oude molen, dat was zeker de moeite waard. Daarnaast zijn er leuke steden en stadjes in de omgeving als Utrecht, Gouda, Oudewater en Schoonhoven.
