Unwind in our uniquely located off-grid Glamping tent. With the rowing boat you sail through the beautiful nature reserve "De Lansing" to the island where the Glamping tent is located. About 350 meters rowing, which sometimes can be quite a challenge. But so unique because the island is only accessible by boat. Enjoy the many birds and waterfowl around you. Hear the rustling of the reeds, the lapping of the water and the sounds around you. Off-grid camping but with the comfort of a good bed, a nice tent and plenty of amenities. There is a kitchenette with basic necessities, gas stove, a gas cooler and a 2 burner stove. On the veranda you can enjoy the beautiful view. In the evening, by a crackling wood fire, staring into the flames you feel again how nice it is to be close to nature. Waking up in the rhythm of nature, doing yoga or meditation in peace. Reading a book, fishing or just doing nothing. That dream spot really does exist.
Nature and surroundings
Nature reserve ' De Lansing' A unique private area in the middle of the green heart. Off-grid recreation, but since May 2025 also with a piece of luxury in the recreation barn "The Lion Hut" with facilities such as toilets and showers. There is also an Honesty bar you can use during your stay. The nature reserve is the life's work of Jan van Leeuwen, so all income is used for conservation and maintenance of this unique piece of nature reserve. Fishermen, bird watchers and peace seekers feel at home here. There is good fishing water and the diversity of birds and water birds is unique for bird watchers. Kingfishers, reed warblers, the linnet and ceti singers and the bittern are often heard. We hope you enjoy nature as much as we do.
