Unwind in our uniquely located off-grid Glamping tent. With the rowing boat you sail through the beautiful nature reserve "De Lansing" to the island where the Glamping tent is located. About 350 meters rowing, which sometimes can be quite a challenge. But so unique because the island is only accessible by boat. Enjoy the many birds and waterfowl around you. Hear the rustling of the reeds, the lapping of the water and the sounds around you. Off-grid camping but with the comfort of a good bed, a nice tent and plenty of amenities. There is a kitchenette with basic necessities, a gas cooler and a 2-burner stove. On the veranda you can enjoy the beautiful view. In the evening, by a crackling wood fire, staring into the flames you feel again how nice it is to be close to nature. Waking up to the rhythm of nature, doing yoga or meditation in peace. Reading a book, fishing or just doing nothing. That dream spot really does exist.

Nature reserve ' De Lansing' Mr. Jan van Leeuwen has been actively creating this area manually since 1967. Unique how many hours he is working here and with his 88 years he is still daily to find in the area with his rowing boat. He does the maintenance together with the help of tenants who rent a piece of land here year around. He is very proud of his life's work and we, the 2nd generation, hope to continue this area. All income is used for conservation and maintenance of this unique piece of private nature reserve. Fishermen and birdwatchers, two activities for which the island is ideal. There is beautiful fishing water where large carp and predatory fish are regularly caught. The diversity of birds and waterfowl is unique to birders. We hope you enjoy his life's work as we do.
