Nature house in Mechelen

Het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en zag er netjes uit.

Een heerlijk huisje met prachtig uitzicht en volop wandelpaden direct vanuit huis.

As mentioned above: beautiful view from the house and garden over the Limburg hills.The cottage is comfortable and very complete; we did not miss anything. The landlords are very friendly and very helpful. There are currently some road works in the area, but from the village of Mechelen you can just reach the cottage by car. The only point of improvement would be that the somewhat steep stairs could become more comfortable for older people if the banister were extended.

Zoals bovengenoemd: prachtig uitzicht vanuit huis en tuin over de Limburgse heuvels.Het huisje is comfortabel en zeer compleet; we hebben niets gemist. De verhuurders zijn erg vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. Er zijn momenteel in de omgeving wat wegwerkzaamheden, maar vanaf het dorp Mechelen kun je het huisje gewoon per auto bereiken. Als enige verbeterpunt zou genoemd kunnen worden dat de ietwat steile trap voor oudere mensen meer comfortabel kan worden als de trapleuning wordt verlengd.

We spent a wonderful weekend in this cottage. From the terrace / garden you have 180° views over the hills of Limburg. And also from the cottage you look beautiful. We have seen beautiful sunsets. Lots of peace and privacy. Lots to do in the area.

We hebben een heerlijk weekend doorgebracht in dit huisje. Vanuit het terras/de tuin heb je 180° uitzicht over de Limburgse heuvels. En ook vanuit het huisje kijk je mooi uit. We hebben prachtige zonsondergangen gezien. Veel rust en privacy. Heel veel te doen in de omgeving.

Never again!!!!! The road to it was blocked and we had not been informed of this.
During the tour of the dirty house it turned out that the advertisement had misled us, both in the text and the photo: instead of 2 spacious, bright and clean 2 2pers bedrooms, it turned out that 1 room was a dark and filthy hole: one window could not be opened and in front of the other window there was a dark cloth with lots of spiders and cobwebs. I finally slept in a broom cupboard: 1 single bed with bedside table, that was all I could get. Furthermore, no instructions for use of the kitchen appliances and stove were present. What a deception!!!!!! Response from landlord: Before each arrival, the house is carefully cleaned by us. In the broom cupboard there are only cleaning supplies, and the information folder with important phone numbers is visible on the table. We make every effort to provide our guests with a pleasant stay and are sincerely sorry that you did not experience it that way.

De weg er naartoe was geblokkeerd en dit was ons niet medegedeeld.
Bij de rondleiding in het smerige huisje bleek dat de advertentie ons had misleid, zowel in de tekst als de foto: ipv 2 ruime, lichte en schone 2 2pers slaapkamers, bleek dat 1 kamer een donker en smerig hol was: het ene raam kon niet open en voor het andere raam was een donker doek getimmerd met daarachter mega veel spinnen en spinrag. Ik heb uiteindelijk in een bezemkast geslapen: 1 1-pers bed met nachtkastje, meer kon er niet bij.

Verder geen gebruiksaanwijzingen aanwezig van de keukenapparatuur en kachel.
Wat een deceptie!!!!!!

Reactie vanuit verhuurder: Voor iedere aankomst wordt de woning zorgvuldig door ons schoongemaakt.
In de bezemkast staan alleen poetsbenodigdheden, en de informatiemap met
belangrijke telefoonnummers ligt zichtbaar op tafel. We doen er alles
aan om onze gasten een prettig verblijf te bieden en vinden het oprecht
jammer dat u dit niet zo heeft ervaren.
