Nature house in Maarsbergen

It's a really cute little house, but it definitely needs some maintenance, as we discussed with Anthonie. The house wasn't entirely clean, which we thought was a real shame.
Tip: Hang something in front of the windows in the kitchen and bathroom for privacy. (Roll-up blinds/shutters)

Het is echt een schattig huisje maar heeft echt wat onderhoud nodig zoals we ook met Anthonie besproken hebben. Het huisje was niet helemaal proper, dat vonden wij erg jammer.
Tip: hang voor de privacy iets voor de ramen in de keuken en badkamer. (Rolgordijn/luiken)

The nature here was beautiful! From the cottage, you can walk right into the woods (with your dog), where you can hike for hours, hear (and see) birds (including owls, nuthatches, woodpeckers, titmice, and robins), and even spot fawns.
The grounds are a bit messy but still homey and cozy, with horses, sheep, chickens, and two dogs. The fridge was stocked with goodies—awesome!

De natuur was hier prachtig! Vanuit het huisje loop je zo (met je hond) het bos in waar je uren kunt wandelen, vogels (o.a. uil, boomklever, specht, meesjes, roodborstje) hoort (en ziet) en zelfs reetjes kunt spotten.
Het terrein is wat rommelig maar wel huiselijk en gemoedelijk met de paardjes, schapen, kippen en 2 honden. De koelkast was gevuld met lekkers, top!

Gezellig en gerieflijk huisje. Rustige en groene omgeving. Veel mogelijkheden om te fietsen, wandelen en cultuur te ontdekken?

We had a wonderful vacation. It’s a lovely cottage that stays cool even on hot days. The fridge was nicely stocked when we arrived. What a treat! Our dog had a wonderful time outside. The walks in the area were also lovely. Anthonie was a friendly host who was always available to answer any questions we had. Great! We’d definitely come back again.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Het is een fijn huisje, dat zelfs met de warme dagen koel blijft. De koelkast was bij aankomst lekker gevuld. Wat een luxe! Onze hond heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt buiten. Ook het wandelen in de buurt is heerlijk. Anthonie was een vriendelijke host waarbij je terecht kon met eventuele vragen. Fijn! Wij zouden zeker nog een keer terug komen.
