There are winegrowers, wine taverns, hiking trails, cycling tours and natural swimming lakes in the immediate vicinity and within walking or cycling distance. Here you can relax and enjoy the delicious cuisine of the Styrian volcano and theme country. In rainy weather, we recommend the Therme der Ruhe Bad Gleichenberg or the Parktherme Bad Radkersburg.

Maximilian May 19, 2024 General rating:Very nice and courteous hosts. A successfully renovated Stöckl in every respect with just enough space for two people. Everything is very practically furnished, nothing is missing. No TV or radio - which makes it the perfect place for good vacation reading. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, which was highly praised by many, as we preferred to take a break later in the morning.
Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Ein in jeder Beziehung gelungen renoviertes Stöckl mit genau soviel Platz wie für zwei Personen nötig. Alles sehr praktisch eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Kein Fernseher oder Radio - dafür oder gerade deswegen der perfekte Ort für gute Urlaubslektüre. Das von vielen hochgelobte Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, da wir dafür lieber unterwegs und erst am späteren Vormittag eine Rast eingeplant haben.
Nature, peace & environment:We spent a week in this little idyll: a perfect place for rest and relaxation in a very charming setting with numerous small villages in the Styrian wine-growing region, close to the Slovenian border. Very beautiful cycle paths, which can be either relaxed and without major inclines along river valleys or challenging in the hilly vineyards. On the two somewhat rainy days we went on excursions to Graz and Maribor (both a good hour's drive away), as well as spending a very relaxing afternoon at the thermal spa in Bad Gleichenberg. All in all, a perfect vacation
Wir haben eine Woche in diesem kleinen Idyll verbracht: ein perfekter Ort für Ruhe und Entspannung in einer sehr reizvollen Umgebung mit zahlreichen kleinen Dörfchen in der steyrischen Weinanbauregion, nahe an der slowenischen Grenze. Sehr schöne Radwanderwege, die wahlweise entspannt ohne große Steigungen entlang von Flusstälern, aber auch anspruchsvoll in den hügeligen Weinbergen verlaufen. An den beiden etwas verregneten Tagen haben wir Ausflüge nach Graz und Maribor unternommen (beide jeweils eine gute Autostunde entfernt), sowie einen sehr entspannten Nachmittag in der Therme in Bad Gleichenberg verbracht. Insgesamt ein perfekter Urlaub
