Are you looking for peace and relaxation, do you love nature? Do you enjoy the simple things and the charm of a luxury-free hut with plenty of outdoor space? We have a place for you to come down for a while and leave everyday life behind. Our former farm mill offers hut flair on approx. 50 sqm of living space with a good 200 sqm of land around it. The HaldenMühle is 300 meters away from our farm and accessible by car via a gravel road. The hut has a small kitchenette equipped with the essentials and a drinking water connection. WC and shower available. Hot water from the boiler. No heating. Please bring your own bath towels and kitchen linen. Fireplace to light (heat) in the living room. We are happy to provide wood. Sleeping place in the attic/sleeping bag or comforter + pillow must be brought by yourself. The mill is ideal for 2 people, possibly equipped with a dog (if it obeys and does not disturb the wild animals). A small pond and barbecue area / fire bowl available. There is no WLAN and no television. Radio available. Mobile network available, internet use is possible via LTE. Electricity is available (not for electric car charging - charging station in the village).
Nature and surroundings
Our mill in Breitnau is located in the southern Black Forest, near Freiburg im Breisgau, above the Höllental valley, the Hirschsprung and the Ravenna gorge. From Breitnau you can enjoy a wonderful view towards Feldberg and the Rhine Valley with the Kaiserstuhl and the Vosges mountains in the background! Hinterzarten and Titisee are within easy reach. Our village store and the bus stop are in the immediate vicinity. The secluded location offers space for a variety of leisure activities right on the doorstep and at the same time the opportunity to relax. Whether alone, as a couple or with a dog - there is something worth seeing for everyone with the many excursion destinations in the region! Experience authentic Black Forest culture, historic "towns", deep gorges and relaxing hours in one of the dreamlike bathing worlds! Go on a discovery tour to our numerous sights, such as the Feldberg Tower, and enjoy your time out in the Black Forest. In our region you will also find sustainable attractions with a wide range of leisure activities and high-altitude climate trails.
