In a magical place in the forest, with beautiful views over the meadows and setting sun, stands our Yurt. Did you know that the origin of this form of living is with the nomadic inhabitants of Mongolia? The round space with beautiful skylight makes it feel spacious, light and yet secure. And with its thick wool insulation layer, insulated floor and wood stove, yurts are a warm and wonderful experience in winter, and pleasant in summer. The yurt is equipped with a fire pit and cozy seating area outside with picnic table, a nice (double) bed, a bunk bed, electricity, electric heating, a wood stove inside, an outdoor kitchen - with refrigerator, stove and the ability to make coffee and tea - and more useful items such as plates, cutlery, cups, pans glasses, towels and a dish towel that ensure a pleasant stay. In terms of decor, the Yurt and is bright, romantic and cozy.

The nature house is located in the middle of the Hondsrug and is ideally suited for the nature lover who loves peace and quiet. There is an extensive network of cycling, equestrian and hiking trails. A varied nature and picturesque villages make it complete. Stores are a 10-minute drive away in Rolde, Borger and Grolloo. There is plenty to do around the private forest. In the vicinity are beautiful cycling and walking routes. In Assen starts one of the Happen & Trappen bicycle routes. Furthermore, the estate is located halfway along the walking route Rolde-Schoonoord of the Pieterpad. A few kilometers away you will find the Boomkroonpad. In Emmen is the Wildlands zoo, which is about a half hour drive from the nature house.
