The Schwarzwaldhof is a building form that has evolved over centuries. Making a fire in the smoke kitchen or cooking on the brick stove is a unique experience. The large parlour with tiled stove offers space for up to 20 guests. Alternatively, there is a fully equipped modern kitchen with electric stove, oven, etc. The total of 15 beds are spread over seven double rooms and one single room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with underfloor heating, making a total of 8 bathrooms. The farm is as self-sufficient as possible. Our drinking water comes from our own spring, hot water is produced by the solar system on the wooden shed. On request you can start the day with a rich farm breakfast with bread, milk, cheese, honey from the neighboring farms and homemade jam. Seminars, workshops etc. with catering possible. Nature and surroundings
Coming from Schonach or Triberg, a bright valley opens up in the dense forest. Surrounded by glacial erratic blocks, our farm lies in the middle of the pristine landscape. A refuge for a special time, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Everything you need is here. The historic chambers have been restored from the ground up and the original spatial structures have been preserved. The luxury here lies in experiencing the original. Nothing here is accidental, nothing is mere decoration. Everything we find has a purpose. When you enter the semi-darkness of the room for the first time, this simple order is immediately palpable.
