Above Åre, an hour north of Östersund, close to the Norwegian border and just below the wilderness route lie the much lesser known Ansättfjällen. Here they say, "ditt eget Alaska"; miniature Alaska, but much closer. Unspoiled nature, wilderness with animals and plants everywhere, in winter and summer plenty of activities like (ice) fishing, canoeing, snowmobile trips + much more, experience the (Sami) culture and traditions.
