The Naturheauschen is located in the front part of the Kreitalm hut, with a breathtaking view of the Traunstein. The use of the alpine bathing barrel with lake view is included. It awaits you with a touch of luxury, a picturesque panoramic view of the surrounding mountain ranges and the Traunsee in a secluded location at 800 m above sea level. The hut is located on the edge of the nature park, which is home to an extensive forest recreation area. The lush alpine meadows around the hut are grazed by organic Galloway cattle, which are subject to strict nature conservation regulations and are managed by the organic farm. The Nature house consists of 80% wood from our own farm. This makes it a special jewel in the region.
Nature and surroundings
Naturheauschen is located at the gateway to the Salzkammergut. Nestled between the two lakes - Attersee and Traunsee - it is slightly elevated at 800m on the Aurachberg. The panorama from the Alm extends from the famous Traunstein over the entire Höllengebirge mountain range, which stretches from the Feuerkogel to the Hochlecken. The location is therefore the perfect starting point for planned activities in the Salzkammergut. Summer, winter - every season has its own charms, both scenic and cultural.
