Built in summer 2023, this pond house with the green sedum roof is absolutely stunning. The cottage is on the grounds of an elder and buckthorn farm. You have complete privacy. However, we are "always" around to help you. We speak Dutch, Polish, German and English. The cottage consists of 1 room with kitchen, sitting and sleeping area. There is also a separate shower and toilet. Hot water is available through the wood-fired central heating boiler (or on electricity if you have a rest day....) There is a terrace on all sides of the cottage where there is always sun or shade. We are happy to help you with tips for activities. In consultation you can borrow bikes and we have fatbikes, canoes or a whisper boat for rent. At 150 meters from this house is nature house 36902 (5 persons) which can be booked in combination.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located directly on a pond with frogs and fish. Nice to paddle here yourself. For the better swimming you walk in a few minutes to the large lake with swimming jetty. The area consists of lakes, fields and forests. The combination makes for enormously diverse animal life from deer, boars, foxes and badgers to very many bird species including impressive cranes. Wolves and wisents are found in the community.
