At the end of a cul-de-sac you come to a unique place at the edge of the woods (c.5 ha), where this Sallands farmhouse from 1855 stands. The cottage consists of the old "gutte", the "deel", the "heerd" and a separate bedroom. In the "gutte" you can use a ladder to get into the bed box (2 pers.), or into the bathroom. The living room is the old "part", consisting of a spacious sitting area, semi-open kitchen, and a sleeping area (2-pers.) in the corner. The kitchen is equipped with 4-burner induction, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, nespresso coffee machine and a combi microwave oven. Wifi works well via 4G router, but has a limited data bundle per day. French doors lead outside with several seating areas and sun and shade spots. Through the barn you enter the front house "the heerd", formerly living space of the farm family, now dining room. The bedstead looks into the barn through a small door. From the heerd you walk into a room with 2 single beds. The beds are made, kitchen linen is provided!
Nature and surroundings
Enjoy the outdoors and peace and quiet in the immediate vicinity of the Nature House, surrounded by woods and meadows. Regularly the deer and hares show themselves and the pheasants make themselves heard! The location is also excellent for an active vacation. Discover nature in the nearby Sallandse Heuvelrug, Lemelerberg and De Duursche Waarden or take a bike ride on the dike along the Ijssel. Visit nature museum BosDierenwereld in Holten or Kasteel Het Nijenhuis with its sculpture garden. Those who want to discover Overijsselian life can visit the picturesque villages of Raalte, Heino and Wijhe. The Hanseatic cities of Zwolle and Deventer also have much to offer. In short, something for everyone! This Nature House has been rented out since July 2023.
