Roberto's house is large and well-equipped (especially the kitchen). We appreciated the exotic, personalized decor, but even more so the kindness of Liliana's welcome on arrival. I should point out, however, that the house stretches over two floors and is not practical for people with reduced mobility. The access road through the woods also requires a bit of concentration if you're driving, but it's doable with a 4x4. Otherwise, it's a good starting point for walks in the surrounding countryside. In fact, we saw walkers pass by every day, with and without dogs. It's also a paradise for cyclists, of whom there are quite a few in the region, and who are particularly brave given the climbs and twists and turns imposed by the steep roads, which are well worth the detour.

La maison de Roberto est grande et bien équipée (surtout la cuisine). On a apprécié la décoration personnalisée un brin exotique mais plus encore la gentillesse de l'accueil de Liliana à l'arrivée. Je précise toutefois que la maison s'étire sur deux étages et n'est pas pratique pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Le chemin d'accès à travers bois demande aussi un peu de concentration si vous le parcourez en voiture mais c'est faisable en 4x4. Pour le reste, c'est un bon point de départ pour les randonnées dans la nature environnante. Nous avons d'ailleurs vu passer chaque jour des promeneurs, avec ou sans chien. C'est le paradis des cyclistes, assez nombreux dans la région et surtout, courageux au vu des montées et des tournants imposés par les routes escarpées mais qui valent le détour.

The charming cottage is only accessible on foot which makes it wonderfully quiet. Due to the beautiful weather we lived there mostly outside, but we would also like to stay there in other seasons. The beds are comfortable. Also the other rooms are not only practical but also have a soul.

Het charmante huisje is enkel te voet bereikbaar waardoor het er heerlijk rustig is. Door het mooie weer leefden we er vooral buiten, maar ook in andere seizoenen zouden we er graag verblijven. De bedden zijn alvast comfortabel. Ook de andere ruimtes zijn niet enkel praktisch ingericht maar hebben ook een ziel.

The cottage is in a very beautiful and quiet region. We made beautiful walks in the mountains, had delicious food and drinks, discovered the beautiful city of Vicenza and enjoyed the peace and quiet at the cottage. Our dog also loved it there.

Het huisje bevindt zich in een heel mooie en rustige regio. We maakten prachtige wandelingen in de bergen, hebben heerlijk gegeten en gedronken, ontdekten de mooie stad Vicenza en genoten van de rust aan het huisje. Ook onze hond vond het er heerlijk.

Das Haus wurde wundervoll renoviert, mit viel Liebe zum Detail, alles hat perfekt funktioniert. Falls man, wie wir, im Spätherbst kommt: Geheizt wird mit zwei Holzöfen im Erdgeschoss, in denen man sogar Pizza backen kann, und deren Abwärme durch die anderen Räume geleitet wird. Für den Fall, dass das nicht ausreicht, gibt es elektrische Heizdecken in den Zimmern und im Arbeits-/Wohnzimmer unter dem Dach eine zusätzliche Pelletheizung.

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern in Casetta Spoleke. Wirklich ein idealer Ort, um
dem Alltagsstress für einige Tage zu entkommen! Das Haus ist Teil einer alten Contrada, einer Gruppe von ca. 5 Berghäusern, die nur über eine holprige Strasse aus dem Dorf Recoaro erreichbar ist (nicht mit jedem Auto befahrbar, aber die sehr hilfsbereiten Verwalter transportieren das Gepäck). Obwohl Recoaro in 10 min zu Fuß erreichbar ist, lebt man mitten in der Natur, noch dazu mit herrlichem Blick auf die "kleinen Dolomiten". Ebenfalls in 10 min, aber bergauf, erreicht man ein Restaurant mit schönem Ausblick und exzellentem Eis- und Bruschettaangebot.
