This nature house is a replica of a small cottage built around 1850 for farmhands working on the land of a large farmer or landowner. The farmhands were allowed to keep a goat and/or a cow and cultivate a small vegetable garden. The cottage has a heat pump and underfloor heating. The cottage borders a water extraction area managed by Drents Landschap, and a small patch of original raised bog lies to the left of the paved road. From the front door, you can set out in your boots for a walk of over an hour around the water extraction area. Now featuring a wood-fired private sauna and hot tub.

One and all praise!
Een en al lof!
To avoid the fireworks for the most part, we rented this lodging for 3 days. The cottage is secluded, all peace and quiet with views over meadows and forests. Spotted a few deer. Beautiful and nicely decorated. Top!
