Really immerse yourself in nature? You can at this forest cabin. On this estate at the edge of the forest you will find this wonderful place. It is one of the rare off-grid accommodations in the Netherlands. The sun provides light, water comes from its own source and you heat your bath with a wood fire (there is also a shower on bottled gas for your comfort) Here you live in and with nature. Don't be surprised if you see a roe deer, are visited by hedgehogs or hear the owl call while you're relaxing in the hot tub. Catching up with your company around a campfire. Cooking on the fire in the big pan. Splitting your own kindling, building huts, hanging hammocks ... Hiking to the most beautiful tree in the Netherlands (the witches' tree) 500 m away. Or inside: a crackling fire in the stove, relaxing on the couches full of cushions and cozy candles. There is no wifi and no charging points. Powerbank with you or turn off your device. ;-) On Sunday, you don't check out until 5 p.m.!
Nature and surroundings
In fact, you don't have to go out at all, because you have your own hot tub, hammock and campfire pit. You can bring your own firewood but make sure it is untreated and without nails! Wood is also available on site for 7.50 per box. From the cabin you can walk straight into the forest! You can easily reach the nearby climbing park by bike, where you can also eat and relax. Pay a visit to the cheese farm or the play farm, have fun in the play forest or go for delicious beers and/or fries at the Abbey of Postel. Admire the roaming cattle and nature on the Cartier heath or settle down on one of the fine terraces in the neighborhood. Come and relax and enjoy.
